I truly do not understood what is going on with this office. Out of nowhere you receive a bill claiming delinquent when they never sent an initial bill. You receive bills for time that your car was not even registered in the state. Thank goodness I keep receipts.
The website doesn’t even work no pages load to be able to pay the taxes
It's a disgusting place to have to deal with. They have a Clark named Susan, who is very rude and unhelpful. They demand money from people who have paid taxes and hire companies to flag cars that haven’t paid taxes (fair)… however they have yet to build a system that filters out individuals in the state who have taken care of their tax responsibilities. Stay far away from these money-hungry demons.
Glad I moved out of CT. They are charging people unnecessary “supplemental” motor vehicle taxes, AND their system does not accurately reflect what you owe after paying. I just received a demand notice for a balance I took care of in July..ridiculous.
