Food is served by minors who don’t understand safe food handling. Perishable food put out in the dining room an hour before dinner meal. Gloves worn to serve and clear without changing. Cross contamination hazard. Quat sanitizer not used to clean kitchen surfaces. No temps recorded in the kitchen by chef manager or cooks.

My Mother, Betty Persons, lived at the Danbury for 4 or 5 years before she needed a nursing home. She was extremely happy there and l was happy for her. She was close to me so l could visit often and frequently l would join her for dinner. What a treat that always was! Now that l am older, 79, l would love to have that same experience. I know what my Mother's expenses were as l handled her check book. Unfortunately, l don't have the finances Mom had. But if l could get my kids to kick in . . . Lol.
