UPDATED TO 5 STARS: The owner called, expressed apologies and his unawareness of the fabricated toys. He refunded our money and vowed to contact the distributor to complain. Thanks, Mr. Damron! My kids purchased $163 of Labubu collectibles marketed as real by Damron's Gifts. After opening, they realized that these collectibles are absolutely FAKE. My kids are devastated. This shop is our first stop every time we go to Helen. We’ve bought multiple etched glasses, not only for our own personal use, but for gifts and wedding favors as well. The workers are always so helpful and nice. Our daughter also loves to pick out new hair accessories when we go in. Definitely a highlight of our trip every time.
I live just outside of Helen GA and hardly ever go there, just because of the high volume of tourists and the traffic. That being said, if I am looking for etched glass gifts, case knives (which I get for the men in my family every year), sterling silver jewelry or just the new “have to have” gifts, I ALWAYS choose Damron’s Gifts! The store owners are non other than my parents, and I couldn’t be more proud of the quality shopping experience they’ve provided for Helen’s tourists over the decades.
