My mother lived at Dahlonega Assisted Living. She was able to age in place and pass away in her beautiful room at the facilty surrounded by family, amazing staff, and her sweet cat that the facility allowed her to have. The Executive Director, Kathleen Pantaleo, does an amazing job as does the Care Coordinator, Rebecca Brown. My mother moved into DAL almost two years ago. It is a beautiful facility with landscaping and a wonderful location. The chef and his team do an amazing job. From preparing daily meals for the residents to hosting holiday meals for resident families, the food is always top notch. The ladies who work at the front desk are always polite and neatly dressed. But, each year there has been an increase, which is not a consistent increase because it varies from 2-5%. Prescription medications are outsourced to a pharmacy that package... read more
