I highly recommend Dacota Assisted Living in Aberdeen. My mom lived there for 3 years prior to her passing and received wonderful care. The staff is wonderful and genuinely cares about the residents and provides them great care with compassion and empathy. They had excellent communication with me as well and gave me peace of mind that my mom was well taken care of. Not much phased them and they are able to handle a lot of care needs. The owner, Mark, and his staff have taken excellent care of my mother for the past 5 years. Mark and the staff treat the residents with love and respect. Because Dacota is a relatively small facility, Mark and the staff know each resident well and can spot any physical or mental issues that may arise and handle any issues promptly. If I could give Dacota a 10-star rating, I would.

Our mother has been here for 2 years now. The owner & staff are wonderful, very caring & attentive to every resident. They make homemade meals everyday. The residents are always clean & wearing clean clothes. The house is cozy & decorated festively for holidays. We are so thankful the Lord led us here & know our mother is being well cared for. And it's nice that we can stop in to visit anytime without having to call first. Just can't say enough about how happy we are & about how content & comfortable our mother is here.

My Mother, Lucille is currently a resident at The Dacota House. The staff is wonderful. We are so thankful to have found a home that is more like a place to live that treats her like family. There are only 10 residents. The staff is very well aware of everything going on with her. They are pleasant and professional. Its a difficult decision to find the right place for someone you love so dearly. We feel blessed to have her at The Dacota House.
