My husband and I are first timers with general contracting a build. From the very first phone call to D&D to the final completion of our build we couldn't be more pleased. Sale went well. For pick-up, went to the yard as told. The only yard worker I could find had a bad attitude as he obviously felt he was being over worked and sent me back to the front desk where I was rudely told I would have to wait till he wasn't so busy. Now, I don't mind waiting in these situations but I was made to feel by two people that after the sale I was just a inconvenience. Next time this happens I will get a refund and go to 41 lumber because it's about the same distance and I never had that issue there.
I called this store from California with a bit of a special request. Both Mike and Denise exceeded my expectations and helped me with my problem. I was so impressed, but in a way, not surprised, as this was my old hometown of Newberry. Although I’ve been gone for over 50 years, that’s the kind of people I remember. Thank you!
I am a subcontractor in the Newberry area and have gotten treated poorly on numerous occasion at this fine establishment. The gentlemen Brian Colbar was rude and told the contractor I work for (Joe Caswell {Tribal Elder}) he had to wait at the front for his materials ticket and his guys would load the material. Mr Caswells team of guys usually have to load their own materials and has been doing that for over ten years now.
