I stumbled across cycling position last year when I wanted a good service and some help. I'm a very novice cyclist. I just want to send a heartfelt thank you to James and the shop. The guy not only did a great work on my bike but also really inspired me to cycle more. I learnt so much about bikes but also about Bristol cycling, how to cycle properly and absolutely everything. Thank you so much James :)
Cannot explain how thankful I am for having found James and Cycling Position. My whole riding experience has *drastically* improved! And I have fallen back in love with my bike and riding! I was experiencing a lot of discomfort in my neck, shoulders & wrists and also wanted to give my bike a full service with lots of custom requirements as well as switching from drop bars to flats ahead of a big trip around Morocco. I keep going back here when caught short but regret each time down to how condescending the mechanics are there. I know several women who have shared in this experience and I always leave feeling like I’ve been spoken to like an idiot. No space for learning, only being spoken down to. Wouldn’t recommend.
Always such a helpful experience when I pop by. James, Bex and John are a knowledgeable and trustworthy team who will always make time for me and have integrity to make sure I get the best for my money - even if that means suggesting I buy from elsewhere. They've fixed up my bike countless times and always ensured I have a vehicle, even if it means lending me another bike while mine is being fixed. Love this team and always recommend them to others ❤️
