It wasn't expensive, but hmm I did have a different expectation. I hired a road bike. no picture on the website. I got at least 10 year old road bike with rim brakes, mechanical shifting and square 23mm tyres. I was provided with enough spares, but all in all a little average experience.

Shout out to the guys at Cycle Zone who looked after me with an emergency bike issue. With the Sunny Coast 70.3 tomorrow and needing to rack my bike, I snapped my valve. I dashed into the store in a state of panic but the guy who served me was a legend. Calmed and composed he organised for the mechanics to get a look at it and they were able to slide my bike into the schedule and an hour later with a new tubular tyre and valve I was able to rack my bike in time. Thanks for looking after me.
