Ordered a SRAM cassette from Cycle Limited; they shipped a lesser version. When I received it I called them; leaving a message and sent an email. Neither inquiry was ever answered. Based on my experience and some other reviewers that had a similar situation of lesser quality items being shipped, it seems that this company has a trend of doing this hoping the customer doesn’t notice. So I’d advise Buyer Beware when dealing with Cycle Limited.
DMV style customer service. The shortest return policy in industry accompanied with sassy and sarcastic phone rep, is not the combination you want to survive what’s forecasted for this industry. Good luck.
Great company. I have never bought or sold a bike online before (aside from Facebook) and they made the process easy. Once I accepted their offer for my bike, I was sent detailed instructions and tips on how to package the bike up. I did forget to include a piece they needed. I called and didn't leave a message. Cycle limited store is a nightmare to deal with. The staff’s attitude is terrible, and the support is hardly helpful. The bike wasn’t even ready to ride; I wouldn’t call it certified refurbished. Only one of the issues was mentioned, and when I complained, they sent me a cheap replacement that was also broken. After taking it to two different shops and a few hundred dollars later my bike is ready.
