Cutler and Gross New York is located in the heart of Soho. The neighborhood boasts the largest collection of cast-iron architecture in the world. The heart of this collection can be found in the Cast-iron Historic District which is bound be Houston Street, Canal Street, Crosby Street and West Broadway. Early SoHo was an industrial zone, full of cast-iron warehouses and cobblestone streets. Large upscale companies used the warehouses to store their extra merchandise and made use of the ornate window fronts to display some of ... read more

I bought some glasses from here a few months ago and after taking and discussing them with my optometrist I realise that the customer service I ultimately got was quite low. I think probably pushed me over the edge to write a review was my optometrist advising that the length of the frame was probably too short and not getting any of this advice when consulting with the staff there And so I don’t have a ... read more
People that can afford 600+ dollar frames don’t want to hear nonsense about voiding a warranty if someone else makes the lenses. We all know how lucrative the fashion eyewear business is. I’m sorry you feel the need to be in such an expensive location that probably bleeds a ton of rent money from you. However, telling educated customers the warranty is voided because someone else other than you made the lenses is a pathetic line of claptrap. There is a lot of profit in frames. Another profit center is the lenses. Anybody tha... read more
If we could give ten stars, we would!! Josh and Imran went above and beyond to get a custom pair of sunglasses just right. They were patient listeners and thought partners and gave us the best experience despite us changing our minds several times. We are eternally grateful!!

They do have a great selection, and I still like the frame I picked, but overall, I walked away feeling misled and honestly pretty sad about the whole experience. I spent $800 in total, including $200 for the lenses they suggested. For that price, I expected better service and guidance, but instead, I got a second-rate experience. 1. The frame left a deep dent on my nose after wearing it, which I feel should have ... read more
