20260819. I've called here a few times and am in the process of obtaining out of state registration for my vehicle. South Dakota deserves all the registration money in the country on account of how easy they've made it for us customers/ vehicle owners. From answering the phone multiple times very politely, to providing all the answers I was looking for, to mailing plates to an address of my choice other than title address, to even arranging a temp tag through email they do it all. I actually prefer to do all business in person at the courthouse because I have yet to have a less than outstanding experience with anyone working there over the last 20+ years. All departments included. ALWAYS helpful and friendly. Amazing difference from Pennington county.
Words can not describe the level of respect I have for this office and the staff. I have had issues getting my registration from "VROOM" and have called daily asking for a status. They have been very helpful and given advice on how to handle the issue. With the advice I was able to track down the company with my registration documents and will have my plates soon. The caring and dedication they have is the best I have ever seen and I love giving this GREAT review!!
