The fact that they have zero empathy towards personal situations but raise property taxes 200% is gross and is deserving of 1 star I would give them 0 stars if I could but it's not possible. Then smirk and say have a good day to me on the phone is enough to make anyone's blood boil.

These people lost my paperwork and denied my veteran tax exclusion. I took all the paperwork to the 3 months ago… I watched them staple it together… yet somehow the staples came out of the paper and they lost it. They sent me back the original that still had the staple holes in it. On top of that they only give you 15 days from the date on the notice to appeal… yet the envelope was post marked 8 days after the letter date. It’s a total scam and breach of public trust.

Usually, I have a good experience with this office, however yesterday (October 3rd, 2022) was different. I inquired about how I could, or IF I could, cancel the trash collection service as it is horribly inconsistent and I'd rather my money go to a better, private company. Ms. Kimberly decided to hang up on me after giving me a disgraceful attitude as if I was wasting her time. I had to go to the tax office yesterday and what a pleasant surprise! I had some questions and thought that it may be an unpleasant visit. Boy was I wrong! Ms Amber Ray went out of her way to assist me and answered all of my questions. She even made a list for me of timelines and contacts. What a beautiful person she is! Give her a pay raise!

I have to deal with the tax office on a regular basis work/personal I always need help and have a lot of questions. The people there have always been helpful, and very polite. Because I go so often, I"m actually happy that the people who work in our local government offices, are so helpful and professional. Not at all the usual from my experience in other places.
