I had a NICU baby and one of the nurses recommended I come here after being discharged. My baby was having an extremely hard time latching. He had to come home on a feeding tube. To say I am thankful to have found Sherilyn is an understatement. She helped us so much. She had a positive outlook the whole time. If you are having trouble breastfeeding I highly recommend Sherilyn I went in holding on to a little bit of hope and walked out feeling like I can achieve my goals with breastfeeding. My baby was only able to latch for less than 5 minutes and at the first appointment with her baby stayed latched for about 15-20 min! She showed me a few mouth exercises to do on baby. We had our first appointment with Sherilyn within a week of my baby being diagnosed failure to thrive. We had just been moved from breastfeeding to formula bottle feeding. She within the first five minutes of seeing us gave me answers to what was the cause of my baby’s struggles. She taught me how to feed my baby a bottle as he needed support to create negative pressure in his mouth so he could draw the milk out. Sherilyn is amazing. She is very knowledgeable in her field, has reassured me about many concerns i had about my newborn. I would recommend her practice for any mom about to give birth or has general concerns with breastfeeding their child.
