I met with Bill, and he was incredibly helpful and provided a lot of useful information. I left the meeting feeling safer and more secure in my situation. I will absolutely be reaching back out should my situation require further legal support.
The case that I was being charged with was having ammunition without a FOID card. I was very worried because beside a possible jail sentence a conviction would stop me from becoming a legal card carrying gun owner. Actually go anywhere but here. Not only did my case get dismissed but Sal verbally told me via phone that he would take half of the cost off my total balance to refile my case. I paid the remaining balance as agreed plus an additional $260 (to reopen my case) and they are still emailing me about a payment due. Two stars because the office staff is nice. They are just confused because Sal is a liar.
My conversation with Bill was very interesting and productive ending on a positive note. Bill was an active listener and posed some thoughtful questions that helped me understand the other parties perspective in a way I hadn’t previously thought of. My concerns were addressed and were answered in a way that I could better articulate my concerns to the parties involved.
