BEWARE of dealing with this foreign bank. Unprofessional and unethical bank in Canadian banking industry. I was introduced to David (Account Manager) through a broker channel. They promised Prime - 0.60% on a 1 year fixed mortgage on their initial commitment letter. One week prior to the closing they came back with lower LTV and the increased rate of Prime + 3 with an upfront fee of 0.50%. No comparison to big 5's and the credit unions. I will file a complaint with Canadian Banking regulators about their unethical practices ... read more
