We used Crystal Howerton for our 2023 tax services, and unfortunately, received about the worst customer service I have ever had in my life. From countless unreturned phone calls, to multiple excuses including “being sick” or “she’s at the Eureka Springs office and the office phone is down” (we had no clue there was a Eureka office) and “I will have her call you back” (she never called back) and also “We have been working on XYZ only this week” - we heard about every excuse in the book from Robert as to why Crystal had not p... read more

Had a thirty year professional relationship with a CPA in Hot Springs for both business and personal taxes. Continued to use them initially after move to Fayetteville but elected to transfer to Ms.Howerton's office. Horrible experience. Taxes were grossly delayed and communication was nil. Eventually had to repeatedly go by office in person to get info because no one would return phone calls. I had to write this review after seeing two other reviewers who have had experiences like we have which seems to point to a current negative pattern here that I really hope Crystal addresses. On the plus side Crystal is extremely intelligent and we are always impressed with her knowledge and kindness when we speak with her in person. On the negative side I don't know why, perhaps she is taking on too many clients, but she and her assistant are extremely unresponsive to calls, texts, emails, etc. We also had a bad situation f... read more

My experience after two years has been excellent I don’t know why these few people had such a bad experience I had five rental properties until 1031 exchanges And the bill was quite reasonable I will always use her

I will never use this business again. They lost my tax return. Then they lost all of my tax documents. I called multiple times and they stopped returning my calls. This was unprofessional and unacceptable for me.
