It has been one year since Crystal Cruises sent me a letter confirming my large refund due for a trip cancelled in 2020 and again in 2021 due to the pandemic. I have repeatedly called, emailed their accounting dept. to NO avail. As with several other reviewers her they use delay/defer tactics and refuse to provide<br /> contact info for higher management to resolve this issue. It's been -3.5- months since I cancelled my May 2021 cruise and the company just keeps repeating the same thing: they are committed to refunding but have no idea and no timeline of when that might happen. This is completely unacceptable, especially from a company with such a (previously) stellar record! Like all the other complaints about not getting money back from a cancelled cruise, I get the same canned answer from them. That is the most frustrating part. I realize the pandemic put a hold on business but since they have had my money for a year, I would think they would be decent enough to let me know when I can expect the refund. I definitely would not recommend this company and I certainly will not rebook with them.
Avoid Crystal Cruises. We cancelled a cruise 6 months ago and have not received our refund. Calls to them say "you are in the queue for your refund". Other cruise lines refunded within 2 months. All we get is a run-around. VERY poor business practices.
My cruise to the Greek Islands was scheduled for 4/13/20, which was cancelled due to the virus. Officially everything (cruise & air) was cancelled 3/20/20. Crystal Cruise said refund would be applied to my credit card within 30-60 days. It wasn't. I called and was told due to the virus it would be 90 days. I requested refund on March 7, 2020 and were told we would get our refund within 30 days. After 45 days, we still didn't have our refund so we contact Crystal Cruises again. When we called our Cruise Consultant, we found out that our cruise consultant retired and no one was assigned to our account to manage our refund in the process.
