Crown Steel Mfg was founded in 1969 in Houston, Texas by three English immigrants as a custom restaurant fabricator and manufacturer of mobile lunch truck bodies. Within a year they took in another English immigrant as a partner and began to focus primarily on restaurant equipment. From these humble beginnings the partners slowly developed a reputation for quality and old world craftsmanship.
