Archaeology Day Tour: A one-day introduction to the archaeology of the Mesa Verde region. Tour a real archaeology dig and explore ancestral Pueblo Indian (Anasazi) history with professional archaeologists. Also tour our lab and see artifacts in the curation room. Google gets you there, no proper signage to help you find your way in. Drove around it for 15 minutes before leaving to never return.
Entrance is hard to find. Non welcoming place.
Came here when I was a little girl about 25 years ago for a class camping trip. This trip has always sat with me and will forever hold a special place in my heart. I'd love to bring my family here sometime.
