Crossroads Jobs has been a blessing to our family! Both of our kids (young adults) have disabilities, which makes it hard for them to navigate the world around them. But, with help from CJ, they have received support and guidance that includes searching for a job, (that suits their particular level of development) to interview preparation, to on-site job coaching. Parents of special needs children need all the help they can get, and I’m so grateful that Crossroads Jobs is a part of our village!
When I started this journey of being unemployed, I planned on this being very temporary. Afterall, I did not want to exhaust my savings, just to be penalized for a reduced unemployment benefit. The various log in accounts for unemployment was confusing and not “Computer Friendly.” All I wanted was for someone to help me get on track with my job search.
