My father was at this facility for about a year and a half. During this time he lost about 80 lbs. He went in weighing 220 and lost down to 142. He's 6'2". He said he was always hungry. His dinner would be either a plate of rice or a lump of mashed potatoes. They never feed the people meat, these are considered entrees. He went into Northwestern Hospital in Huntley and his doctor said that he was severely dehydrated and was dying from starvation. This is the filthiest nursing facility I have ever been in, and I've worked at a lot of nursing homes in my life! This time, I was supposed to get short term rehab. The PT & OT people were very nice & were helpful. However, forget it.....being in this place was awful with rude staff, some downright viscious! They also brought in a 250 page 'agreement' that they wanted me to sign WHILE ON HEAVY PAIN MEDS!! Awesome staff. Ashlea is the best. Always friendly and helpful. Had to relocate a family member here recently and have been happy with Crossroads. Medical staff has been awesome in taking over her care.

For my babcia who doesn't know much English have gotten great support from everyone working there. I came in to tour the facility and everyone was so welcoming. Also the staff willing to learn the language too. This place is much better then where she was before. Here she able to get fresh air and enjoy a cigerette. Here they make her feel like at home. Friendly workers and they go top of the world and make her feel so welcome like a family member. I would totally recommend this facility then anyone.
