I have been trying to connect with the sales team for quite some time and, unfortunately, have never received a response or follow-up regarding purchasing their software. I’ve sent multiple emails, contacted representatives through their website chat, and even provided my phone number, but no one has reached out. In a way, I’m glad this happened before I purchased the software because it raises concerns about what customer and technical support might look like during peak tax season. I have used uTax for at least 10 years, but unfortunately, I have seen no innovations within the software during that time. Additionally, the platform is antiquated and continues to have many glitches. Furthermore, I have found the tax support department to be unhelpful. The staff is often rude, short, and condescending, which defeats the purpose of having a support department intended to assist users. I have decided that it is in my best interest to move my business elsewhere.
