This is spot on. Extremely accurate summary of this business. Absolutely rudest tax pro I have ever spoken to. People that are unable to communicate like an adult, have no business preparing anyone's taxes. Tax prep is all about communication. Tax Pro Madelyne needs some communication skills. Be prepared to significantly over pay. To have two W2's and a few forms done for my tax return it cost well over $400. No long form needed. This place has gone down hill since Madelynn took on clients. Christine was much more pleasant and didn't over charge her clients.
H&R block was much more helpful. Which you wouldn't think would be the case with the outrages rates Cromwell tax charges. They are far from professional or accurate.
Cromwell handled the taxes for my Mother-in-Law from the time she moved to Santa Rosa until her passing. This included the taxes surrounding her Trust, as well. Each and every year, the details were attended to, efficiently and ahead of any deadlines. Additionally, my husband is self-employed. I didn't know I needed Cromwell Bookkeeping until I came across an urgent mess from my last admin assistant. She had unreconciled 3 years of transactions. I didn't know how to fix it and so, in a panic, I reached out to Cromwell and they fixed everything.
