Amazing location with fantastic views. Very quiet and peaceful and felt remote, but within walking distance of Keswick and easy reach of lots of walks and sights. Highly recommended.
Lovely cottage at the foot of Skiddaw. Has all amenities for self catering. Warm and cosy, perfect nest for a couple. Clean and well managed with thoughtful hosts.
We spent our honeymoon at Croft Corner. On arrival there was a complementary tray of tea, coffee and cake. There was also fresh flowers, a box of chocolates and a card congratulating us for our wedding. A very lovely personal touch. It exceeded all our expectations. The lounge, bedroom and bathroom are more spacious than they look on the website. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We stayed at Croftside during September this year and had the perfect stay. It is in the quietest of locations yet still close to Keswick and so many walks nearby with only a short drive. The house was very comfortable and because the bedrooms and bathrooms were two floors apart, we felt we had privacy with the communal area in the middle. Each floor has wonderful views over the surrounding hills and it was a tranquil haven. Croft corner: Well equipped in a country setting with private garden & parking, easy access from A66, at foot of Skiddaw & close to pubs & shopping. Ideal base for mountain hikes, cycling, scenic drives around Keswick.
