In 1995 I began volunteering as a supervisor for Criminon mail-in courses to prisoners across the USA. I was truly amazed at the way almost every single prisoner had massive shifts of their attitudes toward their crimes and people generally. As their self-respect increased and realizations mounted and resentful attitudes melted these people became "human".
