A fraud ring where the city allows this business to continue predatory towing on unsuspecting people. This racket has been going on for years and I watched car after car show up when we were there. We paid for parking and they took our vehicle from a parking lot. Local police do NOTHING per the state statute which shows they must enforce the law on consent to tow. They have hit their limit now.

Fraud ring! Creswell's Towing dba McJam stealing cars from parking lots where they paid to park. The city police officers do nothing, the city allows them to continue to operate under a license while suing them for fraud. They pocket cash and give half ass receipts. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!! Do not park at 119 N Alamo St!!!!! Car Bait lot for Creswell Wrecker Service!!! Paid $15 for 10 hr of parking via text to pay at 11:29am (have receipts total w/fee $16.95) and at 12:23pm our tag was scanned by tow service and our vehicle was towed. The storage yard would not look at our receipts and directed us to take it up with the tow company by filing through the Texas Dept of Licensing in Austin. **Towed 2 other cars while we were standing in parking lot. This place is such a scam.. first of all they towed my son’s car at my other son’s apartment but crazy thing he registered the car with the apartment so his brother could watch the apartment So the car should have never been towed I am going to have our good friend who is a lawyer look into this company since the credit card receipt does not match the company’s name and we were charged extra for something I have no idea what it is. The people who work here are shady and rude. This company is not even registered with the BBB.... read more

We walked away from the parking lot to try to figure out where to pay (there was no sign indicating where to pay). The next thing we knew our car was being towed. We raced after them but too late. $217, an uber fee and a big scratch later, we were able to get our car back. BIG HUGE SCAM !!!! Do not walk away from your parked car in downtown San Antonio or Creswell will get you. There were 4 other cars being towed at the same time we were.
