After surgery for a complete quadriceps tendon rupture in February 2025, I started a multi-month physical therapy rehab process with Michael Buisson, DPT at Crested Butte Physical Therapy. Michael's expertise, excellent communication skills and injury specific research were essential to my recovery. I had knee surgery in December after tearing my meniscus and started seeing Michael the next day and he was great. He really helped get my mobility back, was super knowledgeable and helped to focus on my goals. I really felt that he cared about me as a person vs just another patient. Should you find yourself in a position to need a therapist, I highly recommend Michael.
Following a full knee replacement in August, I saw Esther twice a week for 4 months. She was critical to my recovery in every way, working on range of motion, strength and mobility each visit. We made an amazing amount of progress together. Esther listened carefully to how I was doing and always asked if I had questions as we went along. She is also personable and a pleasure to be around.
