I am absolutely appalled by the way the owner of this store treated my children and me when we stopped in to browse her selection of Jellycats. Instead of welcoming us, she looked at us as if we didn’t belong—simply because we were touching the merchandise and, in her mind, weren’t immediately making a purchase. What she failed to realize is that I regularly buy local gifts for my clients, and had she shown even a hint of kindness, she could have earned a loyal customer.
