Not good for seasonal residents, university students, people that may need to work for an extended time in Canada (like Alberta), or anyone that may need to leave the island. The credit union has started a new policy of canceling their ATM cards if they are not used within 6 months. This is the head office of the Credit Union branches. They need to really manage there branches better. They are understaffed and outdated. They can't serve even a small population with reasonable appointment times forcing islanders to have to take time off work to do in-person banking. I would recommend using an institution that can accommodate it's customers better and stay up to date with current institutions on the island.
