I had a very disappointing experiencing making my wedding registry with crate and barrel. Brides beware - you’re better off going to pottery barn as they have exceptional customer service. We booked the registry event on a Sunday morning at Crate& Barrel. They promised product demos and personalized service to build a registry. When we got there all the lights were off in the store and it was clearly closed. We returned later that afternoon and the staff were unfazed by our experience. Pretty horrible experience ordering a custom couch from Crate and Barrel. Our couch was broken multiple times by assembly people who are “certified” by Crate and Barrel, and in the end, they lost our couch entirely in one of their warehouses. Over a year later, we did not receive our couch and they conceded with providing us a refund on a custom order.
