Called the store to check for a candle if it’s in stock for same day pick up since the site stated it’s available at this location. This is a very special candle that I NEEDED for my home. I had envisioned this candle creating the perfect ambiance for the room. Waiting on the phone, I received a disappointing "No, it's not in stock" at the legacy location. Recently I have had two negative experiences with the staff at this store. I don’t think I’ll purchase anything here soon. On one occasion, I was trying to return a duplicate registry gift and the person behind the counter was incredibly rude and rushed me - it felt like she was annoyed that I was there and asking for customer service help. Crate and Barrel, Lyndhurst I have shopped this location only for its proximity. Across multiple visits, the sales associates have been consistently rude. I have watched the same associates greet non-minority customers warmly and then turn curt when attending to me or my husband. I raise this reluctantly, but the pattern is difficult to ignore.
