Needed a quick service to my bike before the weekend, and my old shop had gone out of business, so I gave Crankworks a try. Was not disappointed. Wonderful shop, wonderful people and I was out of there in under a half hour. The price was more than reasonable, and I even left with a few tips on preventing the problem from happening again. I mean, what else can you ask for?
These guys rock, found the brake pads I needed and gave me tips on installation. If they were smart they would buy and sell used bikes at a profit, the hardest thing about coming here is that they're basically in a long weird alleyway of a store, they have so much space for inventory and I really think if people in Lexington got excited about biking we could be a bike city. All the tools, all the gear, all the beer you could need for a great experience at a neighborhood bike shop. Bill has an extremely competent staff, all of whom are avid riders, very courteous, and ready to share extensive knowledge and skills with their customers. Great location on Southland Drive. The only place I’d take my family’s bikes to for service. I even heard that two-time world time trial champion Rohan Dennis has great things to say about this shop.
