Cranks is a not for profit community bike workshop. We have multiple systems running at the moment: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - book a 1 hour slot where we fix your bike for you while you wait (if you can) so we can explain the process. Fridays - we have an open DIY workshop from 11am till 4.30pm, no bookings required. Saturdays - we are also open for DIY but you need an appointment for Saturdays. I must say, it was an excellent experience. The shop itself was incredibly well-organised and welcoming. What stood out most was the exceptional helpfulness of the staff. Not only did they guide me through repairing my bicycle myself, but they also provided invaluable assistance throughout the process. Their patience and expertise were truly impressive. Some of my bicycle parts got stolen while parked at a hospital staff parking (outrageous!) The staff in this shop were very friendly and helpful, and fixed my bike in one day. I’m really grateful for their service.
