Good first impression (nice, clean building), bad second impression - ultimately left with my bike problems solved in less than 20 minutes, and for much cheaper than I expected. Whoever was manning the front desk (employee 1 of 2) didn’t take me very seriously/was dismissive. Maybe they had an off day, but it did seem targeted at me, and not at other customers, and I thus disliked their customer service. They did not make me feel welcome. Great Bike shop! Replaced a rim for me on a DT Swiss wheel. Everyone I interacted with was passionate and knowledgeable about cycling. Service was quick, well communicated and fairly priced.
This place is amazing! I had traveled from Arizona to Illinois for a race in Rockford. When I unpacked my bike I see my derailleur hanging there broken off the mount. I looked up a close bike shop and called Crank Revolution. They were friendly and helpful and encouraged me to come in with the bike. Once there it was determined that the derailleur hanger was broken but they did not have the part. They looked up Cannondale shops close and gave me the info so I could go there for the part.
