I was referred to Szabo Accountancy from a friend. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted with a smile from the lovely Office Manager Cherie. I met with Craig & Robertino who were very knowledgeable and left no question unanswered. I own a business and needed some help with bookkeeping along with several years of personal and corporate Tax Returns that I had not filed. Thanks for all your help.
Three stars just to get someone's attention. There's a good chance you will get audited. I was, so was our friend who referred us to him. Not only were we audited, we had to fix all the mistakes he made. No help in figuring out either. Very dismissive and rude. That was our first experience. The second experience was the following year, where we received a letter from the IRS and learnt that he never submitted our paperwork. Don’t ever use this company to file your tax return! They nickel and dime you for everything. Craig came as a recommendation from another attorney but from the very beginning he charged us for every little thing including a 20 minute conversation we had with him back in late 2023 about our business and tax return. He charged us $480 for this 20 minute call which should have been a red flag but we used him because of the referral. From that point on it was one bill after another for every little service. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Beware! This company nickels and dimes you for everything. Craig Szabo came as a referral to us from a tax attorney we dealt with when we sold our business last year. Upon speaking with him back in late 2023, he assured us that he would work with us personally on our tax return. However, I guess we were not big enough fish in the sea for him as he pawned us off to his so called EA Robertino who proved to be extremely inept.
