We stopped to ask questions about their Janomie machines and the lady was extremely helpful and generous with her time.
The older woman who owns the shop is consistently rude to me, despite the fact that I spend hundreds of dollars in her store (I am a professional seamstress. I am often forced to buy from this shop due to time constraints. I consider it my "shop of last resort.") I brought my Singer 201-2 in for a simple tune up, but she turned her nose up at it and refused to take it in, instead telling me to buy a new Bernina or Janome as she turned on her heel and walked away. I am in Florida for the Shop Hop. I called last week to verify their hours and was told that they WOULD be open Monday thru Saturday 10 - 4 just for the shop hop. I worked really hard on my itinerary to get all the shops done in 2 weeks. I put them down for Monday, only to find out they were not open! I drove almost 2 hours for both the shops in Sebring just to get there and they were closed!
