I hate to blow up my new spot but this place is amazing. They have the best prices I’ve seen. Everyone was patient and helpful. I was surprised by the variety of species and dimensions of each.
Listen. I am new to wood working and have a lot to learn. But what I can tell you is that being new I’ve made tons of mistakes when it comes to purchasing wood. Be it from box stores or local mom and pop businesses. If you’re buying walnut anywhere else you’re doing it wrong. The rustic walnut here is everyone else’s regular walnut. Nice yard. Very limited selection of exotic species, but that's not really their thing. Lots of sizes like 8/4 in boards as wide as 14". Their rough lumber has some bows, warps, etc, but not too bad. They will mill your entire order to s3s for $20, which is worth it. I go there for one reason, their prices. I don't see anyone beating them per bdft locally.
