Cox consistently has major packet loss issues. If they weren't the only option around here, it would be a no-brainer to switch off from them. These issues have been consistent for around two years now and show no signs of stopping. If you have the ability to take your money elsewhere, definitely do so. Never in my life have I ever seen Internet service this poor. And For what you pay, it's a joke. AVOID COX AT ALL COSTS

My service went down, I paid my bill yesterday. I checked to ensure it came off my bank account. I went in-store to try and figure what was going on. And was held for ransom in order to turn my service back on. They claimed they were the only providers and must deal with what they charge me. I get 34mbps download and .5 upload and has to pay $269 monthly. Never again. Do not go with cox, trap.

Do not get their mobile service. Its the worst. Their phones suck and the connection is slow. If I wasn't tied to them by contract I would leave their service. Don't make the mistake I made. I totally DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Staff doesn't understand the most basic home networking fundamentals. Couldn't even properly tell me the login for admin panel for their router. I had to find it myself on reddit
