Would not recommend!! Wasn't there for half the Arraignments, communication sucked, very rude on the phone, says flat rate but charges for phone calls an text msgs. Bites off more than he can chew outside of his Columbus office.
I paid this attorney to represent me, but I had significant difficulty getting responses to calls and messages. I also had trouble obtaining copies of paperwork related to my case. Communication was far below my expectations, and I was left feeling uninformed about the status of my matter. Based on my experience, I would not hire this attorney again.
This has been one of the most frustrating professional experiences I’ve dealt with. Once payment was made, responsiveness dropped off completely. I repeatedly asked for updates and paperwork and received little to no communication. I felt ignored and abandoned during an important legal matter. If client communication and transparency matter to you, I would look elsewhere.
Michael Cox is the best and an absolute gentleman. You won’t find a more helpful attorney in the state of Ohio that actually cares and will go above and beyond to help you.
