Honestly Simon Cycles has never failed me. I didn’t expect my gear issues to be fixed there and then, but they were and I’m so happy. The guys are so easy to talk to, knowledgeable and hard working. Thank you both
Simon’s a lovely guy and great local business - recycled two bikes and even waited an extra 20 minutes after close to collect one after I was caught in traffic. Remembered fixing it 20 years ago too! Highly recommended :)
Bought a Charge Tap, Eight speed bike on Gumtree. Bike was brilliant apart from the rear wheel. It was wobbling and eccentric...rode like a clowns bike. Simon to be fair stripped the wheel. He then trued the rims, remade the wheel, and when I put it back on the bike it ran like a dream. Simon is a brilliant bike mechanic and a joy to deal with.
I would certainly use this place again. Friendly and very reasonably priced. Changed my brake pads after I phoned the day before and did the job a lot better and quicker than I would have. Money well spent.
Simon is a very kind soul, he's a genuine guy trusted by the whole community, and always delivers exceptional service.
