In all fairness to Covenant GV, I should not have been released to their transitional care faculty last night, or any night. This should have happened well before midday, but Methodist didn’t get word until after 3 pm of authorization, yet still rammed the process to get me out of the hospital to here. I was at Covenant from February 23-March 15, 2024 after a three month hospital stay. When I arrived, I needed help with almost everything. Little by little I started to be able to move on my own. I thank the physical therapy department for my rapid progress. Those women know how to push you enough, without over doing it, to help you reach your goals. They are upbeat and motivating. A great facility overall! Would definitely recommend
Don't take anyone you love here. My person has had to pee in her bed, more than once and the trash can once because no one answered the call button. They have missed meals for her and I, personally, have not seen one kind interaction with staff. It is making me sick to know she has to be there. We are trying to spend as much time there as possible to make sure she gets her basic needs met. It is despicable.
