The school is a joke and they do not live by what they promote! They have teachers teaching there that do not have proper education to teach students! It starts at the top because the administration does not have an education as well! How are you going to run a school without proper education and a business woman does not substitute for that? Both of my grandchildren have attended CCS almost since the beginning. It's an amazing facility and they truly love it there. I've NEVER seen a school where the children really care for and support each other the way they do at CCS. There are a couple of handicapped children there who are loved, supported and treated no differently than the other students. My granddaughter has a learning disability that affects her speech and the thought of the pain she would suffer in a public school breaks my heart to even think about. At ... read more
I am not a person to respond to matters on the internet however could not let this one go by. We moved away from family and friends for our child to attend CCS. This was a hard decision for our family. We were welcomed with open arms and our child is doing great. God had a place for us and we just had to find it here in Lake City....Go and check it out for yourself.
I truly LOVE this school! Everyone is family there. If your child starts there the students do not pick on them they make them truly fill at home. Do not believe the negative thoughts on here. Yes you need to pray about whether you need to go there. It is all in God's will where you need to go! God has really blessed me and my family while we attended there. I have been at CCS for over five years and have no complaints. I do not understand at all the comments of the other reviews. My experience as well as fellow parents' experiences have been quite the opposite. The school has encouraged and uplifted my children and allowed us to have great relationships with their friends at school. The teachers do have degrees and are excellent. Covenant Community School is not what it appears to be. The school does not provide quality education for children. They advertise that they “Build Character One Child at a time” when they actually tear down a child’s character by talking to them in a derogatory manner as well as mistreating them. This school does not even deserve one star. I have found out how badly these people have treated a certain child. When enrolling your children they make you think that they are lead by the Holy Spirit, doing everything in the spirit of excellence but this is NOT TRUE.
