Small country hotel great meals friendly staff I would recommend this hotel for a meal
I do not often write reviews but do so when a place is deserving of recognition. The beer ordered was very reasonably priced as were the meals. I ordered the sausages and mash. The meal was beautifully cooked and came with three sausages rather than the profit grabbing two. The mash was perfect with an delicious onion gravy. Impressively, vegetables included carrots, long beans, caulifower, brocoli and egg plant accompanied the meal. 10/10. The second mral was a breaded fish but it was cooked with the oil too hot. Great small town pub, good food, friendly staff, no worries.
For a jam packed public holiday evening meal, this pub delivered perfection. Awesome crispy skin salmon dish with vegetables and mash potato was delicious. The staff were jovial and happy to serve everyone. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
