If it weren’t for Tonya and Amanda, my client would be sitting in jail an extra 3 or 4 days. We had a court order that my client couldn’t be released from jail until he had a GPS leg monitor on. This was around noon on a Friday. I contacted the State Probation Office in Escambia County and after a brief conversation with an incredibly rude lady, quickly determined that there was no hope of me even TALKING to someone about a GPS hookup until next week, let alone getting my client’s GPS monitor equipped.
