My brother lived here for the past 16 months, before going to long-term care. All of the staff members we interacted with, were friendly, caring, and responsive, sometimes going beyond the call of duty. We found Laurelwood to be very good value for the money. We want to say a special “Thank-you” to Charlene, Randy, Mary, Rachel and Jane and all those on the Concierge Desk.

I had the pleasure of putting on a Fall Risk Assessment clinic at the Court of Laurelwood on Friday as part of a lunch and learn. The event was well attended, and the participants were involved and tried out the Balance Tracker unit. Rachel was very helpful in advertising the event and getting the room set up. I had a turkey burger and pasta salad for lunch. It was very good.

Staff at this retirement home is absolutely amazing...EXCEPT for Charlene Rivard. Front he very first meeting with her she was a super negative person. When she said she was here on a 2 year contract from Saskatchewan I asked her if she was gonna stay, if she like it here. She stated she hated it here and was not going to stay past her 2 year contract. My husband met her today for the very first time and he wanted to tell her off . He said she was such a rude person. Had an opportunity to visit this beautiful retirement center all day and I was blown away with all very positive vibes! welcoming staff to name the best Miss Racquel! She is super attentive and very friendly. The residents talked to us of how very happy they are and that they made the best choice moving into this amazing retirement home as well as the food is out of this world great.

We toured this facility because we were looking for a respite stay for my elderly father-in-law to stay in after our baby is born. The tour went really well and we were impressed by the facility. We were ready to book a suite, but we contacted them multiple times via email and phone, they never got back to us! We tried multiple times over the span of a few weeks.
