I had a PHENOMENAL experience with the Adams County Treasurers office. I had moved and not received the previous property tax bill (note that this was owner error) and didn't know where to go. I called and left a message. A person named Lorraine called back within a few hours. She looked up my account and walked me through steps to pay online immediately to get in good standing. Can verify with previous reviews. I have called multiple times and no one answers the phone.
THEY NEVER,I MEAN NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Edit:They seem to have gotten better
I have to agree with previous reviews. It is a miracle to get a response or call back from the County Treasurer Office. I try to send emails to have a paper trail, but it takes a lot of effort and follow ups to get anything resolved. Thankfully, I do not have to work with them anymore.
