A dear friend of ours turned 90 years of age, and had a minor stroke that affected the use of her right leg. After six days in the Littleton hospital, she was sent to Genesis Country Village in Lancaster for two weeks of rehab and PT. The nursing staff and aids were so very helpful and kind, as was all the staff throughout the facility. The PT trainers were so very kind and helpful in her recovery. The entire staff at country village was extremely competent, caring and compassionate. They provided my Dad with great care. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
Not a place I would bring a loved one or relative. This place was dishonest about the care and goals set for a rehab stay. After a 2 week stay and thousands of out of pocket expenses, my family member was discharged from them claiming there was improvement and is ready for discharge. There was no improvement at all and my family member came out of country village the same way she went in. We went to see a friend we were pleasantly greeted and our friend was very well cared for. Very happy with the staff.
Today was my Dad’s second day at the facility. Everyone has been so nice especially Kyle. We felt welcome. The staff is attentive.
