They have the best jerky. We look forward to stopping in every time we are in the area. Update: Consistently good, we've been multiple times over the years with most recent in Fall 2024. Their jerky is some of our favorite.
Just off the bridge, this is a wonderful place to stretch your legs and grab a tasty local snack! We've tried and enjoyed the teriyaki and hot jerky and the smoked white fish dip is delicious. They also have other local treats like fudge and cheese curds. The lady who owns the place is super friendly and welcoming. This place is a must on your UP trip.
We came all the way across the bridge just to try the beef jerky and it did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious. The woman at the counter was incredibly nice too!
