This is a good place to stay don’t get me wrong when they feel like working but the maintenance is not 24/7 or “emergency” they come I guess When it’s convenient or when they have “time”. You do not get updated appliances which I feel Like you should after so long. It’s some residents that live here that’s been here over 50 years and still have the same carpet from when they moved in and office said can’t have new carpet, like just imagine the filthy dirt underneath. The price is OK if you’re paying under $1000 they do have MICE though and big ants,they say everyone has mice,maintenance is lazy. The office staff is new. I woke up to make some toast and there were mice turds in my toaster.
Pros: The unit is nice — a townhouse with two floors and a basement for a great price. Cons: Absolutely awful management!! We applied in February and were told we'd move in by May. As our wedding got closer, they suddenly pushed the date to June — then July - with no communication, no apology, nothing. When we walked in to ask what was going on, they rudely told us to "just go across the street" and find another place. We did - and thank God! The Edge at Oakland treated us like human beings.
