Amazing personalised service. Came into store with my family looking for an outfit for a photo. Shop assistant, assisted us with our concerns with colour and lighting. She even took the outfit out of the store to reassure us the brown pants did look lighter in a natural light. She was right. No pressure to buy anything even with the extra service. Had a handful of clothing to purchase but after being looked up and down by the workers and all the change rooms having clothes in them “reserved” but no customers using them.. I put it all back and walked out. Clearly have to fit the right look to be treated human in the store.
I went into Country Road Marion store yesterday to buy several items but walked out with none. When I entered the store 2 sales people were having a personal conversation and looked over at me but just kept talking. I kept looking as I really needed some new clothes. Picked up items and looked around for help...a different woman was behind the counter and when I approached she very obviously looked me up and down and didnt say a word. That was it !!!! Was really disappointed with Country road customer service on Saturday, My partner and I do shop alot at the Country road stores but on Saturday we brought a dress and my partners members rewards voucher expired 3 days earlier but there was nothing they would do, We all work during the week. I was just disappointed with there reaction I'm sure they could have helped in some way.
